What can I say...I'm finally in Africa again. Its incredible to be back. So surreal. Everything looks familiar to me-the people, the roads, the smells. Its like I never left. My heart is full right now as I've been able to reconnect with so many friends. Just today I was driving down the Rift Valley as a car came towards ours. As it approached I realized it was a great friend I hadn't seen in over a year. I flashed my lights, put the car in park, and ran to greet her with a hug. That's how Africa is. Unexpected. I can't tell you how good this is for my soul to be back. Makes me miss living here. Excited to see what unexpected things are in store for us in the next few weeks...Yes, my shoe strap is about to break. Hope it can last a few more weeks...
