When I first spoke with the Johnson family about taking their family portraits I knew they would be an energetic bunch. Lisa shared with me all the activities their family loves to do around Burke Lake Park. They really take advantage of the park, especially during the summer. The Johnsons enjoy entertaining performances at the amphitheater, picnics around the lake, exploring the woods, and of course...the train! It was a fun photo shoot and never a dull moment with their three children. We even took photos on the moving train- thats a first for me! If you live in the Northern Virginia area and have never been to Burke Lake Park, hopefully these photos will entice you to visit.
